When you need a deck tile that's as hard as nails, that survives pouring rain, freezing snow or blazing sun and still looks good year after year, then SwiftDeck Ipe is your obvious choice. Built with one of the world's hardest and most durable wood species, secured to a sturdy UV resistant base with stainless steel screws, you'll still be enjoying your SwiftDeck Ipe wood deck long after inferior wood tiles have cracked and rotted, fallen apart with rusted screws and been consigned to the trash.
SwiftDeck is our premium hardwood range featuring exceptional durability and hardness, combined with excellent dimensional stability in service... ideal for the most demanding fully exposed exterior situations, including commercial applications.
SwiftDeck Ipe tiles are now also available in our ECO range, using Ipe wood sourced and certified under Bolivia’s Autoridad de Fiscalizacion y Control Social de Bosques y Tierras (Authority of Forests and Land).
This certification ensures not only that the management and harvesting and of the wood follows government proscribed standards, but that sustainable ecological, social, environmental and forest management practices are strictly adhered to.
Currently, SwiftDeck ECO decking tiles are only available in Colorado and Double-C styles - edge reducers are not yet available.
Ipe Characteristics |
||
| Exceptionally dense, hard and durable hardwood, naturally resistant to fire (rated Class A by the NFPA), termites, decay and mold. Eight times harder than Californian Redwood, 3-5 times the life span of most other decking materials ( 25 + year rating). Weathers to a soft silvery grey, remaining smooth and splinter free. Widely recognized by contractors and specifiers as the best timber species for fully exposed exterior applications – both residential and heavy duty commercial. |
